Guest guest
nn, your blog is great-- I wanted to throw in a suggestion for removing the labels from GT Daves bottles, which I learned from this list some time ago. I can't remember who posted it, but thank you! It does seem to work the best for me. Pour boiling water inside the bottle and cap it. (funnel helps) Let it sit for a few minutes. Holding onto the the cap, find where the ends of the label join, and peel it off starting with a corner. The heat sortof melts the glue and it will come off clean, provided the outside of the bottle has not been wet. If you have tried soaking the label off previously this does not work so well for some reason. My bottle I had in the cooler one day, sitting in ice, I could not get the label off of. Maybe someone else has another suggestion. Hope this helps someone. Beth in north AL, where it is finally Spring!
