Aww, you can so do this !  Once you come to the point where you have apparently reached, it gets easier!  Just need to stay focused!

Let us know what you are eating Ms. , We can help keep you honest, but

also, some of us (hint: me) might need ideas of what we should include in our

diets.

As I was typing this I got called over to cake. Since I was only at 680 calories

for the day I had half of a sliver (about 5 bites)

a today I've done well!7:15 - egg w/half the yolk + egg white, less than 1/4 cup fat free cheddar, extra lean turkey on spelt bread9:30 - coffee flavored whey protein in black coffee with a pinch of coconut flakes and 1/2 frozen banana smoothie

10:00 radishes11:00 salad, fat free dressing12:30 boneless skinless chicken breast with basmati rice and a red pepperSo far so good anyway!  Strawberry protein shake coming up at 3:00 (5 strawberries, 1 banana, vanilla ice cream protein powder, water and ice cubes)

Incidentally, I just heard the best saying: " When you say no to one thing, you are saying yes to something else. " This came from a great podcast that I've been listening to, and it has been really helpful to me. I've been saying no to alcohol and refined foods, but I've been saying yes to waking up feeling fantastic, and saying yes to a more active, athletic life. I guess when I say no to junk, I'm really saying yes to fun.

Snack-Fiber one Pop Tart- 180 Calories

Lunch-Cous Cous and Chicken salad from Starbucks 360 Calories

Snack-Popcorn 100 Calories

Unexpected cake add on of five bites? Going to call it 300 to be safe.

So 1040 calories thus far. I don't know what dinner will be. I was supposed to

go to a steajkhouse for work, but talked my way out of it.

I figure for one day before the election, I'm doing pretty good.And yes I know

I'm lacking fruits and veggies, which I usually don't lack as much.

Election day might be a different story.

You've done well too, Miss a!!  I haven't had cous cous in ages.  When I lived in France my Algerian friend's mom made it for Ramadan and it was the best I'd ever had.  Mmmmm!Now I want North African food..
