Gerri will be performing along with us! Saturday, May 2, 2011 - 3:00 p.m. The Gazebo, Davies Medical Center On Castro between Duboce & 14th Streets The Mirth Brokers are the performing group of the BATS Improv Laughing Stock program. Laughing Stock is a community service program that provides free improve classes to people living with life-threatening, chronic illness. The program is now in its thirteenth year of providing fun, merriment, friendship and laughter. The Mirth Brokers, directed by Gerri Lawlor, accompanied by musician, Hassid have performed improvisation shows at The Gazebo, The Bayfront Theater, QComedy (at the LBGT Center) and for a variety of nonprofit agencies. Improvisational theater celebrates the imagination; thus, some content may not be appropriate for younger audience members. And, that’s a promise! ALL are Welcome to come listen, laugh and celebrate. To get to Davies, please use MUNI- 24, 37 to Castro & 14th Streets or take the N-line to Duboce & Noe Streets. The #7, #71 and #6 stop a few blocks away at Haight & Divisadero Streets. Free garage parking. The Gazebo Room is entered from the outdoor plaza along the railing or from the vestibule and elevator to the right of the South Entrance to the right of the ER entrance.
