Guest guest
I was surprised to see Africa Youth Ministries (AYM) posting here because I remember this organization's name being mentioned in news articles as one of the forces behind the discrimination of gays in Uganda. I sent an email to Albert Kunihira, the CEO of the AYM and the author of the post, asking him about his organization's position on homosexuality. He responded: "As a Christian, I believe in the word of God and it condemns homosexuality as a sin. Lastly, as a Ugandan, i subscribe to the constitution of Uganda which condemns homosexuality as a capital offense, attracting 15 years imprisonment. Happy Easter!"He also mentioned that ASA doesn't discriminate against anyone "that is against our Humanitarian service delivery ethics." I'd be amazed, however, if he welcomes gays as volunteers and interns for AYM's "delivery projects".Joe >> Kindly Circulate Widely!> Dear All,> > For Volunteer/Internship Placements in Comprehensive HIV/AIDS Service Delivery Projects in Uganda, kindly follow the links below.
