Guest guest Posted April 2, 2010 Report Share Posted April 2, 2010 I haven't done that one in a long time and it is not part of my current rotation so it will be a while until I do it again, but it is a good one! Janet's sexy crap bugs me but I get a good workout from it. Goo for you doing it, ! 's Friday workout Since I have these 5 days off I decided to take full advantage and get all the exercise in that I can. Last night I overate by 340 calories so I set my exercise bike program on calorie goal and burned off 350 calories while watching survivor and Bones on TV. It took me 60 minutes and I rode for 14.5 miles. It felt good afterward knowing that I got it done. Today I pulled out an old VHS which I bought off ebay and had never done before. It was The Firm Total Body Aerobic Workout with Weights with Janet -Gretzky. It was almost an hour long and really kicked my butt, but I did everything except for the pushups as I can't do those. I finally got to use those ankle weights I bought at the thrift store a while back. Some of the moves are the same as in the Kathy Body Basics video which has always been one of my faves. I really did enjoy this workout and it was fun watching the two guys in the pink and yellow shirts, kind of cheesy but very entertaining. It was a very good workout and one that can grow with you as you can go with heavier weights as you move up. I feel totally worked out now that I am done and this will go in my pile as a favorite one. I probably won't ever do it on a work day after work, but it will be great for the weekends and vacation days. I will hopefully ride my bike while watching TV this evening. I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my new treadmill, I really want to use it. Today I did the warm up, low intensity cardio, high intensity cardio for women, power sculpt for women, functional flexibility, and the cool down. I thought I had also put the boot camp portion but I guess not. Sometimes on the customizeable ones I tend to mess it up. After I was done I previewed the mens portion and decided that I like it better. I think on Monday I will do that part, or maybe if I am feeling very energetic since it is a holiday and I don't have to work I will try to do the whole 90 minute DVD and see how that goes.
