Guest guest
Yesterday I did about 30 min of cardio with TK Best of Volume 6. skipped the warm since I just walked home, straight to the punches through the turbos and to the recovery. I then felt too brain fried to continue with anything with choreography. I then put in and walked maybe a half mile before I was just NOT in the mood for that either. I came back later that evening and did Yoga Booty Ballet Yoga Core and subtly mocked Gillian in my head. Today I did Get Ripped to round out my week of Jari. This workout just seems SO much easier after Get Ripped and Chisled and Ripped to the Core. It was still challenging at times, but I'm not drenched and exhausted. I might have to throw something else on later this evening. I used heavier weight than Jari for most things. I hated the way they didn't post the weight loads until they already had started executing the moves and the weight loads fluctuated negligibly from move to move. Also, they didn't post the number of reps. I think I could of gone heavier had I would have known it was going to be a shorter set on a few things and I had to drop weight on a few other things. The abbductor/adductor exercises are the same old lying on the floor lift your leg, lift you inner thigh stuff we all learned in the 80s and 90s. I added weight to mine and I still didn't feel a burn with it. Jari doesn't use weight for the lunges and they in no way fatigued me carrying light weights. I didn't hate the workout, but I think its a hard one to do *well* if you haven't done it in a while or are doing the first time. I think its a good one to have if you just don't have the energy for Chisled that day or if you are still sore. But Chisled and Ripped to the Core really do far outshine it. a
Guest guest
I like Get Ripped, Darcy. It's a nice, general, overall workout. I think it's Jari's easiest weight routine too. > > Whew.
