Guest guest
I'll look this up properly if someone wants me to, but as much as I remember ... , according to Tamaro of the vit K protocol, our kids are making oxalates all by themselves - something isn't working (sorry that's as scientific as it get tonight) - but will look up if someone asks me. Therefore she thinks the LOD diet is nonsense because you are eliminating good foods our kids need while not cutting back on the huge amounts of oxalates being produced in the bodies. VSL3 breaks down oxalates and the protocol as a whole deals with oxalate issues. Sara x
Guest guest
I posted that days ago.............. Our anti candida diet consisted simply of removing sugar and that on its own gave us die off, that's how bad things were. I know folks here that have used bicodin for parasites and still come back with issues on testing, Nevins lad is one off the top of my head. They filmed the conference at the weekend so we need to keep checking Autism File Media Channel and check out the Mike Ash talk - was very good, I learned new things about the gut which he is researching on full time now so it has to be a very individual reason. Whats sticks in my mind is this secretary IGA testing, he says you can reduce (or go up whichever way is the bad way) just by suffering frustration, can move it 600+ points in 24 hours. Frustrated kids are not going to get anywhere regardless of what you do unless the frustration is dealt with - spooky, scarey and oh so hard to addresss, we wouldn't have frustrated kids if it was simple to address would we? And this is another test which is just a snapshot and may give 7 vastly different results if you did it everyday for a week........sigh Mx In a message dated 27/09/2010 11:56:33 GMT Daylight Time, eeejay174@... writes: this is going to sound daft but do you think you need to be on anti-candida diet for it to be effective? its just we havent been on anti-candida diet per say, we still limit yeasts and sugars but not to complete exclusion, mainly because having been on anti-candida diet for years on and off, we've never really seen anything amazing except when on scd, and tbh, we are seeing the same effect on scd from using the oxypowder.opinions?thanks emmamum to 1 dd DCD, 2 ds with asd> >> > It has been great for my son in the past (he doesn;t need it now). Guest guest
Hi , Just thought I'd drop you a quick line and send a link for a cup which helps with pill swallowing. I use it for my daughter, and it is really good. http://www.oralflo.com/ Best Wishes Glynis x > > Hi, > I am wanting to purchase Biocidin to try with my daughter who has rett syndrome. My daughter was not able to take the natural antimicrobial given to us by our integrative medicine doctor as she can't swallow the capsule and if you open and mix in food it taste like dirt and unbearable to swallow so I asked him for a different antimirobial. I mentioned Biocidin that I learned about from another Rett parent and he told me to go ahead and give it a try. > Am I able to order it off their website on my own or do I have to have a doctor's prescription to do it? > Also would love to hear how this product has helped or not helped any of your children. > My daughters stool test showed no growth of Escherichia coli and overgrowth of 2 pathogen: ella morganii and proteus vulgaris > Thank you, > >
