Please take two minutes and send a message to your legislator asking them to oppose the Senate Medicaid Budget and SUPPORT the House proposal.Why? Because the Senate Medicaid budget would eliminate coverage for 222,000 Floridians (ends the Medicaid Medically Needy and Aged/Disabled programs) and cuts hospital reimbursements by $1.8 billion. This 35 percent reduction in Medicaid reimbursements to hospitals could cripple some hospitals and result in the loss of 41,000 jobs. The Florida Hospital Association needs your help to STOP THE CUTS. Simply follow the prompts in this email and fill in the blanks related to your hospital name and the number of employees in your hospital/system. Then click send.
