Surely the U.S. is not the only country doing research in the HIV field. I sometimes wonder if the reason we don't have a cure is for the very reason of leaving the research up to Corporate Pharmaceutical companies. Two of my HIV meds are over $1000.00 dollars each, per month. Don't these companies want to keep this gravy train going? How about NIH isn't that where a good portion of research is happening? If so, that's tax payer dollars. Yet, my meds are close to $4000.00 dollars per month. Why am I paying so much?
