Guest guest
Go right to the nearest competent ENT. I suffered for years with repeated sinus infections, debilitating headaches and rounds of anti-biotics. Turns out my sinuses were like a big petri dish. To keep it short, my sinus passages were too narrow to drain properly. Simple out patient procedure to open them up. 5+ years and counting and not 1 problem. Guest guest
Agree with chicago, get thee hence to a nunnery, no no, i meant an ENTI posted the below on february 11th 2011...  (with a few edits)___________ Potrero Hill San FranciscoUp until about 10 yrs ago, i would get four or five bad colds a year, most of which ended up with a horrendous sinus infection. I knocked it down to only a few sniffles a year. I'm 67 yrs old (now 68), poz since 1984, t's 800, never under 190. Does it have to do with your HIV / immune system ???  duuh, does the pope sh*t in the woods. MY METHOD: 1. had a great ENT who slightly opened (2002) a deviated septum and sinus passages  (cute surfer hunk (dr sussman) who moved to kuai with his bf, HUGE loss). Better than the other lunatic ENT's punching holes in my sinuses every year before that, ( and who treated symptoms, not the cause ) 2. started three zinc a week 3. stopped shaking hands during flu season, wash often 4. cup of triple leaf tea daily throughout year; combo of " cold & flu " , " ginger " , " detox " (make it by the quart)    http://www.tripleleaf-tea.com/chinese.htm Â (ginger, cold-flu, detox) (  also flushing sinuses a couple times a week, more often during cold season, do it in the shower where water is already good.    http://www.neilmed.com/usa/sinusrinse.php  ) 5. FIRST sign of sniffles, drink natual " UMCKA " (http://www.umcka.com/ColdCare.aspx). We use the lemon hot drink version. 6. If that doesn't knock it out, do a cup of theraflu at night, although try not to get to that stage of chemicals, a lot of tylenol in that.. REMEMBER EVERYBODY IS GENETICALLY DIFFERENT AND WHAT WORKS FOR ME MAY NOT WORK FOR YOU..
