Three strikes and you are OUT of my collection! Cardio Sculpt Blaster is now officially in the trade pile. ICK! I tried it 3 times in this rotation and tried to like it, just 'cause it is a FIRM workout but I don't. I reviewed it before so here's a quick rundown of my last comments on it. leads it and is about as phony as can be. Her absolutely inane comments distracted me several times. Besides "This is FUN!" there were also gems like "You're sweating now!" when my heart rate was about 109, which is where it was most of the workout. There were several others too and it is only a 30 minute workout! I was a little distracted in general so her cueing might have been better than I am thinking but I was having a hard time anticipating the next move and was frequently off her timing (not unusual for me but it seemed more obvious today). Anyway, I won't make her take the total blame there. It was a cardio workout but my heart rate was only in my zone for 4 minutes. Most of the time it was way under. I could have made the workout more intense by using the 8" portion of the Fanny Lifter (she uses the 6") but didn't feel like it. The choreography was just confusing enough that the 8" wouldn't have helped me out. The stretch in this workout is the most pitiful I've seen, which is saying something for FIRM workouts, with each stretch being held a maximum of 4 seconds. Maybe good for a light day, if you like the choreography, which I didn't and if you could stand 's comments, which I couldn't.

Next up was Jiggle Free Abs with Allie. I've reviewed this once before too and once again, really liked it. Lots of creative abs work that makes it more interesting and challenging. At one point I was thinking this is a lot easier than I remember then she threw in some much more challenging work and I remembered that overall, it isn't easy. It isn't a killer but some parts are. You use the TransFIRMer in the 14" position for a few exercises, there's some standing work and there's a lot on the ground. It is 24 minutes and definitely worthwhile.

Two more workouts to go in this rotation. Tomorrow is FIRM Strength. I haven't done that one in a while so I'm really looking forward to it but have some dread. Sometime this weekend, I'll do the last one, Super Body Sculpt which is dread free. After that, I'm still not positive what I'm doing but I think a yoga week will be good. My body needs stretching, even if the emphasis is more on strength. The FIRM is really lacking in that area. The total body aspect is appealing to me too. I'm watching Jillian's Yoga Meltdown right now and the first workout looks like it could be challenging but reasonable. It looks a lot better than Bob's Biggest Loser Weight Loss Yoga, especially. Jillian is so not a yogi though. This is definitely not for mind-body purists but it looks like good strength work.
