It is really difficult to live in a world where we cannot trust the mainstream doctors, we cannot trust the alternative (DAN) doctors, we are forced to become the doctor for our child. Sometimes we do find things out the hard way.I did follow DAN advice and we chelated 3x/day (high dose) and we've had the worst 2-3 years of our 12 year autism journey.We are on round #3 of 25mg ALA every 3 hrs for 3 days on 11 days off. It is going very well. We appear to do better on round than off. I am also hoping... that CORRECT chelation will bring him back.
