me too and take along a urine sample with you so they can dip stick while you are there, takes a few days to culture and get treatment rec's for full sample but if this is a UTI then he is likely to have protein show in his wee and doc can work from there

Thanks Alll - the behaviour carried on until about 10pm hence me not being able to look at your replies until this morning, i found him in the kitchen putting his willy on the cold tiles???? Full of cold this morning snotty nose and glazed eyes but happy.

I am thinking this could have been oxalate issues, i have heard that they can cause pain in the penis area, maybe a thought? Harry attends a special needs school and only gets 20-30minutes a week of speech therapy, this is not one to one but in group of 5 children, absolutely cr*p! Harry is also predominatley non verbal and now in a class where all the other children can talk so is getting left out alot/class is being catered for the verbal kids, even though i have an ABA tutor going in there every day but because she is being paid by the LEA and they have worded the statement very carefully she doesn't get to do much ABA just shadowing, i am pulling him out soon, had enough, just trying to get things sorted at home and then it is going to homeschooling all the way

I would definately look into UTI. My father has had quite a few the last months and his behavior is very strange during these infections.

Hi - Jacks needs to avoid high oxylating foods and found him eating cashew nuts with his the other night, looked them up and hey presto high oxylating!! so could be a number of things - will have to check for UTI just in case I suppose.  As for SALT it is ridiculous and obviously you are in the same position, would love to home school Jack but caught between the devil and the deep blue sea in that if I give up work I wont be able to afford any of the biomed stuff, LEA already fund Jacks school place as it is cross county and Essex are awful anyway so cant see them giving me any more help.  Marina x
