Guest guest
I'm using my fitbit for that. I tested the mileage calculator of my fitbit and it was pretty accurate. It was only $100 and includes a site where it uploads my info. just like bodybugg. Plus it has other exercises you can add to your activity count when you can't wear the fitbit. Date: Saturday, July 10, 2010, 12:29 AM Jen, instead of buying yourself the next set or to of expensive videos, put some money away and get a BodyBugg or GoWear Fit. That will show you what you are truly burning everyday and then try to eat 500-1000 calories less than you burn. I know its pricey but it is worth it. I know you workout in the pool alot and you can't wear it in the pool, but you can figure out what the average for a water workout is and then add that on to your burn. Just my two cents. I have never regreted mine and it was easily the best fitness purchase I ever made. a > > > > > > > My calorie counting question is, since I weight 212.8 now and I want to > > get down to 120 lbs what's a good calorie range for me to eat? Guest guest
What are the differences between fitbit, BodyBugg and GoWear Fit? Also, if I wear my HRM all day and night woudn't that also track the number of calories I burn? (Not that I want to wear the chest strap all day and night.) I'm not actually wanting to buy one of these things, I don't feel a need for it right now, but am just kind of curious about them anyway, which is probably dangerous, I know. Guest guest
hi jen!! ive been reading with interest that you are using your FITBIT.... id love to have one of those! i have to pay a few big bills but then i think i will order one (now that im driving into the city all of the time to go to my minimum wage job, my car is breaking down... all of the money i make there goes into fixing my car! arghhh!) anyway, they dont sell the fitbit anywhere in canada, nor does the company ship to canada. so it will be probably be quite a while before i can get one anyway :/ in the meantime, i think i will try using a paper journal called FITBOOK... holds enough for a 12 week fitness and food program. also, thanks tonya for the awesome explanation on how to figure out how many calories we should eat! i will plug my numbers into the formulas and give it a go, :*carolyn. .... who is still trying to organize her dvd workout collection... i cant find a thing, it is so frustrating!
