Guest guest
Hi and a very Happy New Year to you all. I got back from our family holiday to Australia last night and have had a quick flick through the 240 emails that awaited me. There's a lot about electric blankets! I have found a cure for AOSD, or at least something that helps - lying on a beach by the Indian Ocean, G & T to hand, children playing happily out of ear shot, with little to do but relax and enjoy..... Does everyone hate me now?! Don't blame you, especially the really chilly ones amongst you. The hot weather - 40 degrees some days - really helped my aching bones. Something I didn't fully appreciate until I got home and woke this morning to a cold, foggy day. On the other hand, it was TOO weird to celebrate Christmas on the beach and I missed my family and friends, so it's great to be back. And it's great not to feel jumpy about all the wildlife that's just WAITING to kill you. I lived in mortal fear of deadly snakes and spiders and jellyfish and sting rays and sharks and.... goodness knows what else. Chris's talk about copperheads got me shaking all over again! I missed you all and am glad to be back in touch. Hope this next year is a good one for all. With love C
Guest guest
Hi Kelley I'm from Surrey, Oxted to be specific. It's about 20 miles from London. I lived in London when I was a nurse and loved it. I go to London when I can as I love the city atmosphere. You should pop over for a visit! Do you have many things waiting to bite you in Colorado?
