Guest guest
Vicky, It's inspiring to hear about 's progress. There are really many wonderful things there that you have mentioned. We are only at #6 and these are exactly the types of posts that motivate me, especially the part about DH! I look forward to hearing more, > > Everything working out so well for . > Biggest differences are in behaviour, no running off, no climbing over furniture or up buildings, no stimming, no SIB. > Gains most notable, compliance, school can't believe it's the same child and keep thinking he must be poorly, goes to bed when he is told, gets into bed and stays there till he drops off which is now usually within 30 minutes. > Sits with very uninspiring trainee VB therapist whilst obviously bored out of his mind, but does it anyway for full 4 hours, no attempts to escape. > No expressive language improvements although tries very hard to do the oral motor exercise I have been attempting with him. > I am still debating whether to purchase Nuffield or Kaufman for what increasingly appears to be apraxia as the vocals are very much " can't do " rather than " won't do " . > He doesn't need any rewarding for following instructions as he will now always do as he is told. > I seen most of these gains after the first round but they are building up week on week. > Apart from language the other non mover is indoor playskills, he obviously is severely learning disabled and not moving on in this area so very bored with the same type of toys aimed at a much younger child, but unable to grasp more age appropriate toys, but at least he has stopped shredding paper constantly. I keep thinking I should have started chelation much earlier but on the other hand I wonder if the fact so many years were spent healing his gut that we are able to chelate without massive yeast flare ups which has got to help surely. Nearly forgot, this is impressive.....................................husband is totally blown away with the behaviour improvements, so much so he is getting up or staying up to do the middle of the night dosage! > Vicky > Vicky >
