odd rash that won't heal

Hi all-- my son (age 7) has always had some degree of eczema on his bottom, but

his current rash simply won't heal. The lesions seem similar to chickenpox and

herpes, and he tells me they're quite itchy. I simply don't know what to make of

it. Any ideas? Thanks so much!! x
