Guest guest
Hi everyone, On Sunday we had a fantastic group ride through some gorgeous areas in San Francisco and Marin County. We rode 50 miles, and a few of those climbs were pretty rough. There's a climb coming back from Sausalito to the bridge. Lordy. Then, a short while after that, you hit the Presidio. Straight up again. HAVE MERCY. We then rode a couple of other hills in Seacliff and the Richmond in San Francisco and Daly City. My legs were roasted. It was my longest and most hilly ride yet. We had spectacular weather, too. It was in the 70's, breezy, and clear. I'm really excited that I finished it. I took a full rest day on Monday. I did a little bit of stretching, but that's it. On Tuesday I walked 3 miles and stretched. Today I screwed up my alarm and only had time to do two rounds from Iron Core Way Volume 1. It felt easy, but what I really needed was to put my joints through a full range of movement. This worked. I'm not sore, but I really need to keep the joints oiled. I walked 3 miles today. Tomorrow I'm doing a Spinervals that I haven't tried. It's called " Uphill Grind " . Sounds J.U.I.C.Y. Now I have to make sure I hit the sack early enough. Later friends!
