We were going to go sledding yesterday, but the hill was closed due to ice. Today we're under a winter storm warning. We've already gotten several inches of snow with more still coming down, 5-8 inches total predicted, we'll likely get 8 where I am. The kids want me to take them out today but I dunno yet. Our wonderful neighbor snowblowed enough of our driveway to get the cars out (our snowplow guy can't come till tonight and DH was doing his best to shovel when our neighbor came over) and DH is on his way to work now. He's going to call me when he gets there and let me know if we should try. I'm all dressed to workout and have been trying to get downstairs since earlier today but so far I keep getting distracted my DH first, then kids, now waiting for DH to call (mostly hoping he's okay but also half hoping to have an excuse not to go out too, sledding sounds like a blast but not when so much when it is still snowing). Am watching the snow birds (junkos) feasting on bird seed that has fallen from feeders at the base of an ash tree. At least they like this weather. I had to miss work this morning (thankfully, I thought to get a sub yesterday, I knew I'd never get out if we got the snow we were expecting and I'm right) and canceled an At Work class I do Monday evenings since we don't know what is going to happen weather-wise, they wanted to cancel too so that's good (less money for the month but less hassle too).

Will send in an update on what physical movement I end up doing!

I didn't know it snows in Austin!! Cool! Like the snow woman too! Miriam made 3 snow people in the backyard after the last big snow, most of them were snow girls I was told.

It snowed here today! Just there isn't enough for sledding, I don't have a sled and there are no hills close by. Terry and I had a quick snowball fight though. I also made a snow woman. They had pink hats, scarves and gloves! I'll try to post a picture.
