what does it mean if he does not respond to valtrex

my son is on 1000 mg/day, about 3 weeks now. no rash, no fever, no

obvious response. does this mean he does not have herpes virus or does

it sometimes take a long time to get the reaction? i felt sure this

would be the treatment that would finally trigger detox, my son is

classic non-responder to everything. how long to i keep going before

stopping, 40 days? i'm so bummed that this did not work.

i give him 500 2x day. he swallows it in a spoon of applesauce, is it

better to spread the does out more and crush it up?
