Guest guest Posted March 16, 2011 Report Share Posted March 16, 2011 Hi Everyone, Interesting reading,It's funny how you think your child is the only one that intergrates a certain way and then you read a carbon copy. My son is 14, was diagnosed with ADHD @ age 5 or so. I've grown to like his personality and often view others with the problem not him. Maybe that is the protective mother in me. About a year ago we moved and I went in search of a new Doctor, due to insurance they reguired that he see a psychiatrist for treatment of his ADHD instead of a Pediatric Dr. By the end of the visit my son was diagnosed with OCD,Generalized anxiety disorder,ADHD and AS. I was rather stunned but relieved that I finally had some answers.Medications on the other hand have been difficult, it seems every month its a change for one reason or another.
