Guest guest Posted March 18, 2003 Report Share Posted March 18, 2003 I was just wondering if anyone knows what the rules or law is regarding parents observing the PPCD classrooms? One of the mothers of an autistic 3 yrold went to visit the classroom today and was pulled out of the classroom and told by the Asst Principal that she needed to leave because they didn't like parents to be there more than 30 minutes. She has already filed a complaint with TEA for several other reasons and she is outraged now!! This school has continuosly lied about what they are doing in the classroom and the only way for us to know for sure is to observe and they NEVER make us feel welcome. It is like they are trying to hide something. Is there anything that we can do about this? We both have ARDS this week,so we are trying to get as much info together as we can before then.
