HCV has been in my Life since, most probably, when I was dx with "Serum hepatitis" over 30 years ago. I did tx with Intron A in 1990-1991, but I was a non-responder. Eventually, my Liver deteriorated to ESLD and hepatocellular carcinoma in 2002. It was then that I received 2 Liver Transplants in one 24 hour period (The first TP Liver was non-functioning). Today, I am now over 4 years post-transplant. When the HCV attacked my TP Liver 9 months post-TP, I was offered Pegasys/Copegus tx while my Liver was Grade 1/Stage 2. After preparing myself with a Positive Attitude, I commenced tx in January of 2004 and, now, I have been undetectable for the virus for 24 months and SVR for 18 months. This dragon is weakened wmoreso when we show Strength and Support in numbers! May ALL of us continue to strive for SVR with each new Day !!! My Love, /JP AOL now offers free email to everyone.
