most probably, when I was dx with "Serum hepatitis" over 30 years ago. I did tx with Intron A in 1990-1991, but I was a non-responder. Eventually, my Liver deteriorated to ESLD and hepatocellular carcinoma in 2002. It was then that I received 2 Liver Transplants in one 24 hour period (The first TP Liver was non-functioning). Today, I am now over 4 years post-transplant. When the HCV attacked my TP Liver 9 months post-TP, I was offered Pegasys/Copegus tx while my Liver was Grade 1/Stage 2. After preparing myself with a Positive Attitude, I commenced tx in January of 2004 and, now, I have been undetectable for the virus for 24 months and SVR for 18 months.
