16 Year old son with Aspergers can't stop lying

My husband and I are trying to learn how to help our son be more honest. He lies

about everything from doing his homework to taking the dog out. Even when he's

caught, he insists that the other person is lying or misunderstood what he was

saying.He is on an IEP at school and his Learning Center teacher contacts us

regularly to let us know what's going on in his classes and works with us to

come up with approaches that may help him.

I am looking to chat with any other parents of teenagers with Aspergers who

might be able to help us navigate these already challenging years. I forgot to

mention that my son was assessed as having Aspergers last May. Before that, he

had been diagnosed as ADD for 5 years.
