Guest guest
Honey, big I am not, but instead the opposite. 127 pounds and 5.8 My acities is controlled by my diet. But, other things bring it on, like sitting straight up. I must be leaned back, or I swell like I'm nine months. Two much walking brings it on in my legs, especially ankles. Along with the enlarged spleen. I walk a very tight line, in everything I do. Can't eat much even if it is the right things, because I bloat, and this starts a pushing process against all other organs. But, I'm hanging in here, for the long fight. I'm not a quitter. And through it all, I do keep my positive attitude. Your in my thoughts daily my dear. Guest guest
Hello, I try to eat like that too, but breakfast is pretty much what you eat, the oats and brown sugar, it is cooked with 1% milk. I have tried to eat fresh veggies, but don't do as much as I should. My stomach hurts and doctors and nurses said Glenda there is nothing wrong, you have been scope, scanned, they tell me about the acities and spleen being enlarged. I knew it was something to do with what I was eating. I did go to store today and we bought a lot of fruit and stuff for a salad, I will only eat alittle one because I thought it was the lettuce. I love beans and fish and I eat chicken, but I just can't eat much at a time. I waste food when we go out. I don't like left overs, my husband will eat them. Thanks if I think of anything else I will ask and I do have a pool in the back Bill said the water 78 degrees today. I still get cold easy but not in the sun. When we go out I always bring a sweater, or wind breaker. So, I do the next best thing. Every thing is hand made. Like my breakfast, would be oatmeal, the kind you bowl, not packaged. Toast, wheat, no butter, but peanut butter, or jam, a banana, and a glass of milk. Lunch would be something like, tuna, little dressing, or mayonnaise. apple sauce, half a glass of milk. maybe some pasta. Dinner would be baked chicken, baked potato, salad, and a orange. In between all meals I eat at random. Most is fruit and fresh veggies, steamed. I do eat a lot more than listed, but was giving you an idea. Eggs are a good source of protein, fish, peanut butter, beans you cook all day long. It's a fine line my dear, to balance the protein with the no salt. This for me is a must to keep the acities down, because when the acities acts up, along with my enlarged spleen, a whole lot of pushing begins inside my stomach. And wash every thing. Learned this one the hard way. Made me sick as a dog for 3 days. Hope this was a help, and time my dear. Feel free to ask away. Respectfully Star1956 Exercise is hard in the winter because i can't bend over, but my in ground pool is open, and it acts like a giant pillow under the belly, and exercise is easy. Now, I have to up the protein a bit more, to regain some muscle.glendajohn25aol wrote: In a message dated 4/29/2007 3:10:19 PM Eastern Standard Time, whomeinnc writes: Honey, big I am not, but instead the opposite. 127 pounds and 5.8 My acities is controlled by my diet.
