Guest guest
We received new syringes via FedEx today and have to go through all of our syringes " in stock " because there has been a recall. I am typing in most of the letter just in case some of you use these same syringes. This recall of certain lots of 60ml Luer-Lok syringes is being initiated to address the possibility that the integrity of the package seal (and resulting product sterility) can be adversely affected when the syringe is exposed to low atmospheric pressure experiences at high altitudes (e.g. during product shipping). Our records indicate you may have received these syringes. BD uses a 7 digit lot numbering system. This recall impacts ALL BD 60ml syringes with lot numbers beginning with the numbers 5, 6 or 7. It also impacts 60ml syringes with the following lot numbers: 8010954 8031133 8058896 8072414 8014571 8038154 8058898 8072419 8031115 8038158 8058900 8079645 8031117 8045564 8058902 8079656 8031119 8045567 8072401 8031124 8058890 8072409 Please immediately stop using the BD 60 ml Luer-Lok Syringes with the lot numbers beginning with a 5,6, or 7 and all lot numbers above. Peace be with you, Pattie Understanding is the reward of faith.
