As many of you know, I am planning on having my own small business in the future

to use dogs with helping people with special needs. I was telling one of my good

friends, who think along the same lines as I do, about this the other day. He

said that it's not supposed to be a business, it's supposed to be a program or

charity. His statement got me to thinking about it, so I wanted to ask. Would it

be fine to have this as a small business or should I follow my friend's advice?

True opinions please.

My personal opinion is that starting a business doing this is fine. I

think in general it will be more a labor of love rather than an

enterprise that will make you a millionaire, but I think it is

reasonable to at the very least recoup your expenses.
