Although awareness for Autism/Aspergers is growing and helping to diagnose

infants and children at a younger age, we have little hope for what to do with

these children as they mature and reach the age of adulthood.

We are looking for a group of parents and volunteers interested and willing to

assist us in growing a foundation to help these children and young adults in

learning life skills. They need and deserve our assistance to help them become

contributing members of society. We do realize that everyone has different needs

and some will never be able to live independently, but they all have something

to contribute.

My wife and I started a non-profit foundation over a year ago. It is a special

needs therapy ranch called The Wyatt Foundation/Spirit Ranch, named after our

autistic son, Wyatt. The foundation to this point has been a labor of love and

funded solely from our pockets, needless to say in this economy it is not moving

very fast.

As each day passes and we watch our son grow and mature, we realize the

desperate need he has along with other special needs children to have a life

plan and goals of what the future holds for him. If you are a parent of a

special needs child, I am sure that you have worried about the future for your

child and how they will be taken care of if you are not there to take care of

them. All of our children are special in their own way, they all have strengths

that can be built upon to help them have a quality of life and feel productive.

Even the smallest of tasks brings satisfaction.

Join us in building a place where special needs young adults can work and live

on their own, with little assistance, to help prepare them for life. Our dream

is to have a center where they can learn a vocation, be provided a job in the

community, live on site and be as productive as they can.

If you would like to learn more about The Wyatt Foundation and Spirit Ranch you

Thank You
