Guest guest
I am writing to ask it any of you have problems with your children having unrealistic fears. For instance, Devin, who is 7 yrs old is extremely fearful of going to Walmart and Target. He say he is afraid because he knows that they have the game of Operation there. He loves to watch Sponge Bob and once for his birthday I gave him the Sponge Bob Operation game and when he opened the giftand he threw it in the air and acted spooked and would not finish opening his gifts. If we take him to Walmart he will run throught the aisles and act like he is running from something that isn't there or afraid it will be there so its not fun at all. How do I get him over this??? Now he doesn't like to take off his socks because he caught the flu and I guess he attributes it to all the times I told him to put something on his feet during the winter so he wouldn't step on the cold floor and " get sick " ! Now he doesn't like to take them off even to sleep? Thanks for your time,
