My aspie kid has a lot of the symptoms you describe. He is very picky about his clothes, speaks loudly, covers his ears a lot because things sound too loud to him. Actually, reading your post sounded a lot like you really were talking about my son. If you want to know for sure, you could have him evaluated by a psychologist. I don't know about your school district, but I needed the diagnosis in order to get him an IEP. He is also a lot like me which helps me to identify with him, sympathize with him, and help him.Kim
