Hey Jeff and Jon! Jeff...are you waiting for a liver?? Jon, as I understand the anti-rejection drugs make the immune system even weaker...so it doesn't fight off the new liver. I get (I HOPE,used to), Staph and cellulitus easy. I have thought that Staph would probably do me in more than Hep C or just a TP alone.. Did the drip make your system stronger, and you were carefully monitered after TP?...while on the drip? Del Ruse <jeffreyruse@...> wrote: Hi thank you for the quick responce. It is a virus that is related to mono. As we are imunosupressed, it can cause a dangerous infection. I had it for about 6 months. I had to have a pic line and I did IV antibiotics for about 5 months. Most people carry the virus, but immune systems control it in healthy people.Jon.>> hello all> i got my blood test back today & on it , it said no CMV DNA detected > and it has never said that before. I should know what that means but i > dont can someone tell me what that means please. > Thank you > rooster> Don't be flakey. Get for Mobile and always stay connected to friends.
