Guest guest
I have to agree with Barbie, thats a pretty large dose for a 6 year old. The only thing I can think of is maybe your child in on the heavy side as dosing depends on weight. My 45lb almost 8 yr old daughter was doing 2.5g sub-q every week until she grew a bit and lost all her sub- q tissue so were back on IVIG, trying 5g every 2 weeks but if she can't tolerate it we will go to 2.5g IVIG and install a port (placing an IV is a nightmare with her) until we get some weight on her which is pretty hard to do. > > That is quite the dose for a 6 year old. Lucas is doing well on his dose as far as illness so I am not pushing to go up. We starte at 15gms at age 4 so it seems like you are on a high dose. > > BARBIE > >
