Guest guest
Hi All, This is my first experience with an on line support group. I've been reading your messages, and I responded to one. I enjoy reading the posts, but I have a suggestion....we all are going through something that is hard to explain, and the children we love are the ones who deal with it everyday. Is it possible for us to reach out and be kind and just listen if someone is having a bad day? That is the reason I am here. My son was diagnosed at 2 1/2 with PDD-NOS. At two years of age his father and I got divorced. The road has not been easy as most of you have experienced. I work full time and take care of my son full time. The balance of work/home numerous doctor visits is daunting. Always trying to figure out if you are doing the right or wrong thing. In the back of your mind, can I do more...what should I do? With all that being said, I am optimistic that we can work together to help each other. I would like to extend a big hug to all the parents, grandparents, caregivers on this blog. You are here for a reason...someone you love is special. And when I say special, I mean it. Can we look at the wonderful things our children do? Can we focus on the gifts they give us and the world and still be concerned if we are doing everything right? I am not saying this is easy, at all. But focusing on the positive in any situation helps. Best regards,
