Guest guest
My daughter, 10, CVID, has been doing IVIG for two yrs, and at first, we had a few bumps in the road, but realized that one product worked better than another, and we needed a slower rate.......since then, she pretty much never has any reactions. Yesterday, she had IVIG and Im not aware of any changes that were made.......shortly after infusion, she complained of headache, and I gave her some motrin. She said she felt a bit better. Last night before bed, she said her head hurt so much, it felt like she had whacked it hard on something, but she was just laying on a pillow. I gave more motrin and she slept the night--if she woke up with the headache, she didnt come to get me. This morning, she is still complaining of headache, same spot---back of her head. She doesnt often complain of headaches at any time, so I am paying attention to this......at any point is this type of headache supposed to be called to the drs attention, or do you just treat it? Are there some typical triggers that cause this kind of reaction? valarie mom to 3 w/CVID
