Anyone have any experience with this med. This has been recommended for my son.

I'm on the fence about starting it and want to hear what others have

experienced. My son is 8 and has to be supervised 24/7 for impusive behaviors.

my son takes the fast release version of this to help with hyperactivity and sleep.  it works well... but doesn't last a long time.  i like it though.  i know when i give it to him that his behavior will calm fairly quickly.  sometimes he naps with it as well.

God, a nap would be a blessing from Heaven. My son hasn't naped a day since before the age of 2! Tuckersrt12780@...

Yes my son took this med with his concerta. Tenex is a blood pressure med that helps stablize your blood pressure. It is very safe and has been around for a long time. My son took his meds for 5 years and had no bad side effects. he is 13 now and off all meds and doing very well.

How and why did you take him off all meds at 13? Did the Tenex work while you had him on it and at what dosage? Tuckersrt12780@...
