Guest guest
I've been reading the reasons why one would apply for Supplemental Security Income for a child with autism, and I'm thinking it would be a good way for us to get is into some services she might not receive otherwise, that we'd have to pay out of pocket (like hippotherapy, which we're considering). But I'm wondering, is there a reason that we would NOT want to do this? Perhaps future complications, assuming she does work as an adult? Just in the information-gathering stage right now.
