Welcome back, Patty!

Things have been quiet the last few days, but you will see from the

messages that we had some problems last week.

Hi Patty, Good to see you back! . . . I hope your vacation was wonderful! . . . We banned Sherry . . . She was upsetting the women with her "typical" doctor attitude. . . However, I don't think we've alienated her. I asked her if, with her knowledge of the medical system, if she could find a way to inform the medical profession of our problems. . . She said that she thought it was a worth cause and she would do so. Love, Rogene

Hi Lynda, I'm trying to slowly make my way through them, but so far only completed one days worth of messages. I'm swamped! It might take me awhile. I am glad things are quiet now! I know this group is filled with sweet, kind, generous and loving women, and I have complete confidence that we can get through anything. We just have to remember what we've all been through. Thanks for the welcome! It's good to be home....we had a great time visiting in Illinois though! Everything was so green! I came home to 100+ temperatures, ugh! Hi Rogene! Oh, that's too bad about Sherry. Gee, we've seen that on this group before, and it's not good. I think sometimes it's hard for some professionals to get back down to our level and just relate to us as "sisters" in silicone issues. But that's what is needed. An attitude of superiority just doesn't fly. I hate losing anybody, but sometimes it just needs to be done to keep everyone on an even keel. I do hope that she works within her familiar system of medical professionals to do some good and help accomplish what we are all working together for, and that is the understanding of just how devastating these illnesses are after implantation. Yes, it has been hot and dry in the

desert. Sedona with fires, it was 104 here one

day, we suffered. One day I will move again where it never gets to 104.

My driveway is being replaced, so we are a mite inconvenienced these days.

There were hundreds of messages that I did not

get when I was having them bounce. Now I get

double messages. I cannot figure that out.

I am glad you had a great trip. I could not live

in Illinois humidity, it makes me ill. But it is

beautiful and green there. My mother loved it

where things were green all the time. She hated the desert.

Lynda, I am not sure what is going on with the double messages...wish I knew what to tell you regarding fixing it! I hope the weather is better for you now. I remember how the heat bothered you. We plan on moving one more time too, and it will definitely be out of this desert! PattyLynda <coss@...> wrote: Yes, it has been hot and dry in the desert. I know this double message thing happened last

time I fixed my messages when they were bouncing,

but somehow it got fixed and quit. Now it is back.

Heat is not a friend to me. I would like San Francisco.

We live in Hot Springs Village in Arkansas . . . It's the largest private community in the States . . . About 20 minutes from Hot Springs, Arkansas. We're in the Quachita mountains. . . . the community is 42 square miles . . . forested . . . population about 15,000 . . . basically retirees, but not age restricted. One-third of the land must remain as green space and not developed.

Compared with DFW, insurance and taxes are much lower. Home prices have taken a big jump this last year because a property company has been buying lots and bringing people in to buy them. A websearch for "Hot Springs Village Arkansas" will give you an idea. For less than $35 a month, the property owners association provides a police force, fire department, maintains hundreds of miles of roads, oversees building permits, zoning, maintains common property, plus amenities like golfing, lakes, recreation center, performance auditorium, natatorium, trails, etc.

The only drawback I've found is that the variety of resturants we were used to having minutes away aren't that close anymore.
