Guest guest
Becki My son was on zithromax every day which was decided by our Infectious Disease Dr. The Pulmonologist didn't mess with the dosage or dosing because I am not sure what she thought about the zithromax helping his breathing or not since he is also on Singulair, Pulmicort, Duoneb and Albuteral as needed. Luckily these 2 drs work in the same building and across from one another, so maybe there was some discussion that I am not aware of. But I do know that if we accidentally missed a dose he would have problems the next morning and need the albuterol. And now for the last week we have been taken off the Zithromax (still on the others) and we have had blue lips 2 days in a row now. I have a call in to see what we can do, but I keep getting a respone to keep him off the Zithromax. at this point, I really believe it was doing a lot more than keeping the bacterial infections away over winter!!!! Hope this helps and what you were looking for. A. > > Did you ever try a Mon, Wed, Fri regiment with the Zithromax or did > your kids always take it daily? Guest guest
I know Zithromax, for reasons unknown, has been found to have great anti inflammitory effects on some people. Especially in the lungs. That is why Reagon is on it. It sounds like it was working for your son too!
