Guest guest
Hi! I was reading through the archives for info about immunologists from this area and ran across some of her posts about s Hopkins, which is where we first saw an immunologist two years ago. Honestly, I was so relieved to read that someone else had the same impressions we had. I called IDF yesterday and talked with a parent advocate and the first person she recommended was the doctor we had seen at Hopkins. When I told her that we'd had a very negative experience there, and that the " world-renowned " immunologist, the best in the field, had treated our son like a lab rat, never actually speaking to him, only poking and prodding him, she was surprised. She said she had never heard anyone speak negatively about him. Our experience was so bad, I will never put my son through it again. We've seen a lot of doctors and he was probably the nastiest. She then recommend Dr. Jordan Orange at CHOP and I emailed him yesterday and am now waiting for a response (anyone know how long he takes to answer?). She had never even heard of the immunologist we saw at Children's in DC and that was a little disturbing. Not disturbing about IDF, disturbing about the doc. So, anyway, I posted this to Amy also because I noticed she was in Virginia about two hours Baltimore and so are we, so I was kind of hoping that maybe she would have some insight into doctors in this area. Thanks! Missy
