Get hold of your dentists hot line and he will have to put you on anti biotics first then take care of the tooth.Sounds like an absess.Let us know what happens.

A filling came out of one of my teeth, earlier this week, but my Dentist's Office has been closed until Tuesday.

The pain doesn't concern me as much as the fact that there seems to be an area below the tooth (lower right hand side molar) and jaw line that is filling up ( I think) with fluid.

I called the Liver doc and he was obviously stiill very busy with patients, and sent the message he didn't have the time to handle this, and instucted quite abruptly that I should go to the ER, which is a $35.00 cab ride. I know I sound really cheap but that has just happened to me.

We hung up and I thought about it, then called him back and asked if I could just go to a

dentist and he said fine.

I realize there is nothing they can do if there is infection, and it hurts. Should I call my Dentist's hot line, advise him of my plight, or just go to the ER. being at the ER is minimal 5 hrs wait, to be checked out, and a long way from here.

I'm not comfortable going to the dozens (it seems) little strip shopping mall dentist's, that barely speak English.

This is probably a no brainer, but someone elses thoughts on this would be welcome.
