Guest guest
Different professionals will have different opinions about this. My son was language delayed, has an average IQ but has very Aspie traits of amazing math computation and hyperlexia (he learned how to read and progressed 3 grade levels in decoding in 8 weeks). One expert said the language delay could change his diagnosis to high functioning autism or pervasive developmental disorder. Another expert said you could just call him Aspergers with a language delay.
