Jerri, I went thru the strung out emotions and so did my husband when he was on tx. Please call of go see your dr tell them about this. You need to get on some anti depressants fast. The longer you wait the worse it gets. Or at least it did for me. It is both a side effect but also true depression, brought on yes by tx. But it is still real. love and hugs d aka dannegrlJerri Neely <all4jerri@...> wrote: Hi everyone. Happy Holidays. I was wondering if anyone

I was still an emotional wreck most of today with crying jags thrown in for good measure.I'm unsure if this is a side effect that I can get meds for or is this really depression. Other than the over reacting and crying I don't feel depressed (or do I).Very confused. Thanks for any advise,Jerri .

Thanks.

That will be my first call on Monday. Still having a

lot of issues with my insurance which isn't helping.

My medical group is dropping my insurance company. I

sent in the forms for a transition of care so that I

can stay with my Liver specialist but because I

don't have prior approval for a specific number of

visits they are trying not to approve it. I has to be

figured out by Jan 1 or I am really screwed. I will

have enough meds for a couple of weeks but will be

without a doctor. That's pretty scary.

Thanks again,

Jerri

Hi Jerri,

I think we all had some emotional issues on tx, I know I did - the second time when I was on ribivirin not the first when it was just interferon alone. Riba rage is famous & I'm good at rage.

It never ceases to amaze me the hoops you Yanks jump through for medical care & drug insurance. I'm so glad to be Canadian. It was a fight to get on Disability but now everything is covered - glasses, teeth - all of it. My meds were already covered by a gov't drug plan for low income people. They paid for my flight to & from London (Ontario) over 1,000 miles away for the t p assessment, they paid for the hotel & food, transportation while there etc, didn't cost me a cent. It's really good to know it's there for me when I need it.

Hi Suzie,

Thanks for the email. The US has a alot of great

things but I am finding the insurance game isn't one

of them.

I too think it is the ribivirin and not the

interferon. I haven't had the rage yet but the

emotions are overwelming. I will be calling my dr. in

the am.

Hi Gail,

I spoke with the nurse this morning and I believe that

the doctor is going to call in a script for me for my

depression. She also said that her and my doctor are

fighting to keep me on a continuation of care (my

medical group is dropping my health insurance). So

hopefully things will turn around. I am putting one

foot in front of the other and on my way to work.

I can't remember, did you say that the treatment

worked for you?

Hope all is well in your world.
