Well, the plot thickens here in ND....Ben rents the upstairs of a big

ol house here, and last night, it burned up, It is thought that he

might have fell asleep in his recliner with a cig. BUT....the

neighbors saw smoke, called 911, and a neighbor, Big , dashed up

those stairs into the smoke and flames and dragged Ben out! The FD has

not yet determined the cause, tho. He was asleep before going to work

at 11 pm. If this had happened in the deep of the night when no one is

up or about, he would indeed have died. PRAISE AND THANKS TO A

MERCIFUL GOD.

He also DID go to his Dr. appt and is scheduled in early Jan for an

endoscopy and a colonoscopy. But that might be delayed. Ben is in the

hospital and is suffering from bad smoke inhalation and a severe burn

on his right shoulder. Hopefully, he will be able to go " home " ( moms

house) in a couple more days. Man, when it rains, sometimes it pours.

But this is only, as far as I am concerned , the first of the many

miracles it will take for God to get His will done in that man's life.

Prayers are always appreciated, and I know God has a plan for him, HE

has saved Bens A-- so many times! Blessings on all and above all,

thanks to God. ~~

Honey - You and Ben already have our support and prayers. He is in the best place possible now and the Dr's and medical staff will treat and watch him very closely and will do everything needed for him. Mom's are given extra strength from above to handle it all cause once we are a Mother we are for life. It seems at times it's too much for us but that extra strength from above kicks in and we endure and handle it all the best way we

can. Just take it 1 step and 1 day at a time. Love Hugs and Prayers. Deb

Wow... I'm really glad no one was hurt worse. As you say, this very well may have been God's intervention into Bens life. A wake up call of sorts. The time in the hospital will be good for (Ihope) him to realize he's on one way road right now..but can change directions....if he wants. It was hard for me to pay attention to God, and the siezures knocked me down on the ground and worked. I didn't listen the first time.... the second time I knew I was in trouble. I hope Ben will be as lucky. Be thankful he has this opportunity to re-assess his situation, and I'll keep you in my thoughts. Hang Strong.....
