Wondering is it all right

I now have two SCOBYs, a small one fairly developed but still very small

and grown with starter in a coffee cup, actually I guess I now have

three, two grown in the very same coffee cup with starter. The biggest one is

coming along quite well. And people are posting that the ugly SCOBYs make the

best tasting KT. Well, I'm in for a taste treat!

The biggest one, the width of the gallon jar started having bubbly marks

that I normally would have chalked up to another case of mold, but out of

irrational fear I mixed up a two cup two tea bag I don't think very sweet, well

kind of, batch of vinegary sweet tea a bit to pour over the

very top of the floating SCOBY and than I poured a bit in the same coffee cup to

grow yet another SCOBY, and than I know my Mom has another

resting in starter in a jar waiting to join the others. She won't look

at it, she has it covered because she insists it looks like a brain.

I think things will be fine as long as there is enough vinegar in the brew to

ward off mold. Can anyone who is much more experienced tell me

can you have a bit too much, not complete over load, but just a tad too much

just because you might be gun shy over the issue. Can you tell me in simple

terms what might the ratio would be, math illiterate. Thanks.
