Help with impedance checking

So I'm going to try to check impedances of my pendant using the impedance meter in my ProComp Infiniti amp. I've done this before with a 1-channel design and it worked great. However, I'm now using a two-channel design and I'm a little stuck with something:

okay I have two channels on the ProComp, Channel C and Channel D, and they both have three " holes " , for an active, a reference, and a ground. The configuration for my pendant for my 2-channel alpha synchrony design is: an active in +1, its reference in -1, the other active in +2, its reference (which is linked to the first reference with the jumper) in -2, and a ground in N.

SO, now, looking at the ProComp: -- I would put one active in the active hole in Channel C, one reference in the reference hole in Channel C, and                                                     the other active in the active hole in Channel D and the other reference in the reference hole in Channel D,

BUT -- what do I do about the ground? Does it matter if I put it in the Channel C hole or the Channel D hole? There's only 1 impedance check diagram that I know of in the ProComp software - it's a triangle (active, reference, and ground) -- oh -- maybe I would check the impedance of each channel separately, switching the (one) ground from C to D as I check?

Does any of this make sense? (it doesn't to me that's for sure) THANKSLiz -- Margoshes, Ph.D.New York State Licensed Psychologist
