Whole wheat foods

I've been researching the glycemic index lately, and have seen that a

number of things are higher-glycemic than one would've thought.

Whole wheat bread, for instance, scores 72/100. However, English

muffins appear to be lower, so one WW food is not the same as another

(by the way, I think a whole wheat muffin split with a lean beef

paddy in it makes a great burger!). Anybody know anything about

either the fat content or glycemic level of whole wheat bagels?

Thanks,

Andy
