VIRUS/WORM warning from N Vergel

I apologize if you received a weird email from my email address today.

Do not open any strange emails with weird subject matters or links from me or anyone.

There is a worm that has infected many computers. I did not find worm, malware or virus on any of my computers after virus and malware scanning, but it seems that this worm infects computers of people you have emailed in the past. Their computers then access your address book to email more worms to everyone.

In the past 3 months, I have received at least 3 of those emails a day from different people and in some of my discussion groups and today it seems that address book has also been taken up. I changed the password of my aol account this morning and it seems that the problem has resolved. But I will keep my eyes open.

I would hate to delete my 15 year old AOL account, but will do so if the problem is not resolved today after these changes.
