Guest guest
"Has anyone on the list had this problem? It looks like I am going to have both hips replaced and I wanted some input. thanks FRANK"Osteonecrosis of the hips is very common people living with HIV. It tends to relate to how low your t-cells got and if you ever had cortico-steroid therapy (not anabolics) .Bone disease is a subject of much concern in aging patient with HIV.Fortunately, hip replacements are much easier operations that you might be imagining, and you'll do just fine.JB
