Guest guest
I currently have a patient that lives 1 hr away. He is 15 years-old in Nashua, NH. He has had multiple brain injury. His symptoms are so severe that he can not go to school. The driving in a car causes his symptoms of severe headache-brain pressure to increase. Thus, he can't come in for treatment. His parents do not believe in medication, unless absolutely needed. He has tried numerous treatments, homeopathics and herbs. Getting PT, cranial sacral, Reiki, acupuncture all means he has to get in a car, which exacerbates his symptoms. Along with his symptoms also include sensitivity so sound, lights and flickering of computers, etc.. I suggested Feverfew and magnesium. Also, what has NOT worked for him or has made things worse are the following: zscore, pRoshi, neurofield, sounds, music, Photonic Stimulator, traditional neurofeedback. What has worked: LENS - can't come in now. Irlen glasses Chiropractic- yet can't get out now Reiki- can't travel to appointment Have not tried: Low frequency therapy What he is taking: DIET: High protein diet, no glutens, minimal sugar intake, high water intake daily. Ingests no artificial dyes or sweeteners, msg, or other harmful chemicals. SUPPLEMENTS: Natrim Muriatum 6x 4-5 times daily R- Alpha Lipoic Acid 100 mg/1 day Feverfew 380 mg/1 day Probiotic 10-20 1 day Turmeric Extract 1,160 mg/1 day (natural anti-inflammatory) Astaxanthin 4 mg/1 day (for visual issues) CoQ10 100 mg/1 day Omega 3 1,100 mg/1 day Vitamin D3 2000 iu/1 day B Complex liquid 1 tsp. daily At night: Melatonin 3 mg/1 daily Magnesium powder 150 mg/daily Any suggestions he can do at home will be welcomed, so he can come back for treatment.
