Guest guest
Hi all, It touches my heart when I hear of another mom who has come to a place where she has " accepted " ocd and can look at her child as a blessing. Many times I struggled with wishing I had a " normal " child and it took me along time to let go and just marvel at my daughter, Bre's, good qualities. She has taught me what courage is and when she comes to me now with anxiety, I know she will make it through. I also would like to thank all the people on this board whose stories gave me hope. Hope is such a small word, but it packs a significant meaning. It keeps me going each day and even when the worry creeps in, it shines through like a beacon of light in my dark world. To all of you whose child is still struggling in a dehabilitaing way, I offer you hope to hang on to and to remember that tomorrow may be the day your child turns a corner. I pray for all that it happens sooner than later. I do know your strength will grow too and when you look back, you will see how far you have come. Happy New Year!!
